Mount Control:
When on top use your legs and hips for controlling their hips, and use your arms and legs to maintain base. Be prepared to move to back control if given the opportunity.
Mount Defense:
Make sure that your arms and neck are safe. Do not let your opponent sit too high on your chest. Keep your elbows close to your side and use a good bridge (upa) to off balance your opponent and reverse the position, or a good hip escape (snake/shrimp) to come out from under their hips and reestablish your guard.
Submissions available: Collar chokes, arm attacks, naked chokes and triangles.
